Nitro performs seismic and noise monitoring using local standards. In Brazil, the national standard is NBR 9653:2005, which states maximum peak particle velocity, frequency and noise for most places.
Using last generation digital equipment from White Seis Inc., Nitro measure any type of impact, from both chemical (explosive) to mechanical (heavy traffic, excavation). We are deeply involved in different works, such as tunneling, mining and quarrying.
Nitro also supports Supported Legal problems related to Vibration, Noise and Ultra releases blasting with the use of explosives.
Curious about the Brazilian Standard: NBR 9653:2005 ?
Defines maximum values for vibration and noise in Brazil. The allowed noise level must be lower than 100 Pa. The allowed vibration, according to NBR 9653, follows maximum peak particle vibration velocity (PPV) of 15 to 20 mm / s for frequencies of 4 to 15 Hz and 20 to 50 mm / s frequency of 15 to 40 Hz and above this. The velocities PPVL, PPVT and PPVV are respectively modules of speeds of vibration measurements from zero to maximum, according to the directions L - longitudinal, T - transverse, V – vertical.
